Rani Mukerji joined thousands of Indian Americans for the annual India Day Parade organised by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) on August 21, at Madison Square, New York.

The NRIs gathered and celebrated the 65th Independence Day of India. Dressed in an elaborate Sabyasachi Anarkali dress, the petite Bengali actress was the grand marshall for the parade.
