PIX: Newlywed Kareena, Salman at People's Choice Awards

The First Colors People's Choice Awards 2012 was held in Mumbai on October 27, and several Bollywood stars turned up and added glamour to the event. 

Kareena Kapoor made her first appearance after her wedding to Saif Ali Khan, and looked positively radiant in her white gown.

Katrina Kaif chose white for the occasion as well.

Priyanka Chopra, who made her debut as a singer with the single In My City, won an award for it. 

The actress was elated with the recognition and tweeted, 'My first debut award for my music!! Hahah! Feels nice to be a debutant again..thank u people for making me ur choice!'

Salman Khan went casual for the awards ceremony.

Amitabh Bachchan, who recently celebrated his 70th birthday earlier this month, won the Best Television Host award for his game show Kaun Banega Crorepati.

The actor thanked his fans in his tweet: "How did it happen? It's the People's Choice Award by Colors channel for the best television host for KBC. Thank you all, who voted for me."

Ranbir Kapoor, riding high on the success of his latest film Barfi!, posed for the shutterbugs with director Subhash Ghai.

Sameera Reddy, who had a stunning item number in last week's release Chakravyuh, looked ultra glam in her red gown.

Director Kabir Khan arrived with his wife Mini Mathur. His film Ek Tha Tiger was voted People's Favourite Film. 

He tweeted, "Had fun at the Colors people's choice awards. #EkThaTiger won people's favourite film award. Thank u "people" :-)."

Madhuri Dixit made a pretty sight, as she arrived with husband Dr Sriram Nene.

Parineeti Chopra attended the awards ceremony with her parents. 

Veteran actress Hema Malini made an appearance in pink.

Ekta Kapoor chose her favourite Malini Ramani styled-outfit for the event.
