PIX: Esha Deol gets married in a lavish ceremony

After a lavish sangeet ceremony, followed by the mehndi ceremony, veteran actors Hema Malini and Dharmendra's elder daughter Esha Deol got married to beau Bharat Takhtani in a traditional South Indian ceremony at Isckon temple in Juhu, a western Mumbai suburb, this morning.

Dressed in a cream-coloured sherwani, the bridegroom arrived in a horse-drawn carriage to the venue.

Dharmendra and Hema Malini were all smiles as they stood at the entrance of the venue to welcome their son-in-law.

The new bride and her mother have a moment at the ceremony.

While Hema wore a kanjivaram sari, Esha's bridal sari was sourced from Chennai and styled by designer Neeta Lulla.

Actress Rani Mukerji arrived for the wedding in a Bengali sari. Her mother, Krishna Mukherjee accompanied her.

Yesteryear actress and Hema Malini's niece Madhoo was also at the wedding.

Abhishek Bachchan, who worked with Esha Deol in the first Dhoom film, spoke to the media on his way to the wedding. He was accompanied by father Amitabh Bachchan.
