Former Miss Universe Urvashi Rautela has given Bollywood many item numbers like Haseeno Ka Diwana and Daddy Mummy.

Now, she serves up a music video called Ek Diamond Da Haar, composed by the Meet Brothers, and it's looking very hot!

The actress, who was last seen in Annes Bazmee's Pagalpanti, tells Rediff.com Contributor Divya Solgama, "It's an exceptionally expressive song which belongs to all the girls out there who want a diamond necklace from the love of their life."

You have been a part of several music videos. What's different about Ek Diamond Da Haar?

It's an exceptionally expressive song which belongs to all the girls out there who want a diamond necklace from the love of their life.

It's a special song and every girl will relate to it.

How tough is to promote a single that is not a part of a film?

I don't know. If the song is very good and people relate to it, nothing is tough.

You recently lifted a 100 kilo weight and shared the video on social media.

I love fitness and want to spread the awareness about it. I really want my fans to push themselves in terms of fitness.

Can you give us some fitness tips?

Drink a lot of water and stay hydrated.

Do any form of work out, like dancing, cardio, functional training, weight lifting, martial arts...

Also, get good sleep.

You are not from a film background and don't have a godfather either. Yet, you have achieved quite a bit.

It feels really good because it's my own journey with no support.

It's been possible because of the love from my fans and the blessings of my near and dear ones.

How did you handle rejection?

It was not heartbreaking as such.

I enjoyed rejections because then I pushed myself to bounce back.

After winning the Miss Universe title, people knew about me and things got easier.

What are you working on next?

I just completed shooting for my next film, the Hindi remake of the Tamil super-hit Thirutti Payale.

I play the lead in it and will be paired opposite two actors, Vineet Kumar and Akshay Oberoi.
