Siby and Udayan to split?

The scenarist duo of Siby K Thomas and Udayakrishna has been churning out one hit after another for the past few years even though their screenplays have been dismissed by critics as slapstick.

Most of their films have been with Dileep.

As is the latest, this weekend’s release, Ivan Maryadaraman.

Now, there are reports that the two are to go their separate ways after their forthcoming film, Puli Murugan, featuring Mohanlal.

While Udayakrishna will continue writing scripts, Siby hopes to move on to direction, according to reports.
