Rimi Tomy to play Jayaram's heroine

Popular Malayalam TV anchor Rimi Tomy will play Jayaram’s heroine in Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare.

Rima, who said Jayaram persuaded her to act in the film, plays a housewife, who is addicted to TV serials. The film is directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam.

The film has been shot in Thiruvananthapuram.

Before this, Rima had a brief role in 5 Sundarikal.

Siby and Udayan to split?

 

The scenarist duo of Siby K Thomas and Udayakrishna has been churning out one hit after another for the past few years even though their screenplays have been dismissed by critics as slapstick.

Most of their films have been with Dileep.

As is the latest, this weekend’s release, Ivan Maryadaraman.

Now, there are reports that the two are to go their separate ways after their forthcoming film, Puli Murugan, featuring Mohanlal.

While Udayakrishna will continue writing scripts, Siby hopes to move on to direction, according to reports.

No Mammootty in Made For Each Other


After the success of last year's Varsham, writer-director Ranjith Sankar has announced the title of his forthcoming project: Made For Each Other.

The cast is yet to be decided. 

Speculation is rife that the protagonist will be Mammootty once again, after Varsham.

However, Ranjith has rubbished the rumour.
