Twinkle Khanna launched her second book The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad in Mumbai and her family and friends showed up in support.

The book is a collection of four beautiful short stories, written in amazing detail.

Here's a look at pictures from the book launch.

Twinkle shows off her book, which is dedicated to her superstar husband Akshay Kumar.

As she says in her interview, 'Akshay has been my biggest cheerleader.'

Ranbir Kapoor holds a copy of the book.

He read an excerpt from it as well at the launch.

Twinkle's biggest supporters -- her mum Dimple Kapadia and teenage son Aarav.

Twinkle's BFFs -- Simone Arora and Gayatri Joshi.

Twinkle was a hoot on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan show, where she shared the couch with Akshay.

KJo seems to have repaid her with hosting her book launch and matching her wit.

Sonali Bendre holds her copy.

Homi Adajania and wife Anaita Shroff attend the book launch.

Homi, incidentally, loves working with Twinkle's mum Dimple and has cast her in all his films so far: Being Cyrus, Cocktail and Finding Fanny.

Has Atul Kasbekar helped himself to two copies?

Rock On!! director Abhishek Kapoor lends his support.

R Balki arrives solo.

His wife Gauri Shinde is probably busy with the last-minute preparations of her big release Dear Zindagi.

Gauri's Dear Zindagi heroine Alia Bhatt, however, made sure to attend and read from Twinkle's book as well.

Alia reads from the book launch.

Sussanne Khan arrives.

Twinkle's cheerleader Akshay Kumar poses with Shabana Azmi.

Shabana read an excerpt from the book as well.

There was much witty banter on stage, as can be expected from Twinkle and Karan Johar.
