There were so many big releases planned for 2020 until coronavirus changed all that.
With the lockdown in force and no clarity on when theatres will eventually open, quite a few movies will spill over to 2021.

Movies in hand: Sadak 2, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Brahmastra
Alia had a packed 2020 ahead of her.
While Sadak 2 and Brahmastra were delayed, Gangubai Kathiawadi came into existence when Inshallah was shelved.
Kangana Ranaut
Movies in hand: Thalaivi, Dhaakad
Thalaivi is special for Kangana since she plays the late movie star and politician J Jayalalithaa.
She was also supposed to get started on Dhaakad to place it for a Diwali release.
The action movie is now set to get pushed to 2021.
Kareena Kapoor Khan
Movie in hand: Laal Singh Chaddha
Kareena did have a release this year, but it barely lasted three days in the theatres, thanks to the lockdown.
Angrezi Medium was, in any case, an Irrfan Khan film.
The one where she will have a substantial role is Laal Singh Chaddha.
But the Aamir Khan starrer is now getting pushed to 2021.
Taapsee Pannu
Movies in hand: Rashmi Rocket, Haseen Dilruba
Taapsee has been making movies at a rapid pace. Earlier this year, she was seen in Thappad.
In the second half of the year, she had Rashmi Rocket and Haseen Dilruba lined up. Now, one waits to see which of these films moves to 2021.
2021 is quite busy for Taapsee as she has Loop Lapeta and Shabaash Mithu lined up.
Kiara Advani
Movies in hand: Laxmmi Bomb, Shershaah, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Indoo Ki Jawani
What a year it was supposed to be for Kiara!
While her Netflix film Guilty has been released, there are four more films lined up.
At least a film or two will be pushed to 2021.

Movies in hand: Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Roohi Afzana, Dostana 2, Bombay Girl
Janhvi Kapoor had a quiet 2019 though this year started with a segment in Ghost Stories,
That was just a preamble to at least three confirmed releases were planned for 2020.
Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is ready, Roohi Afzana as well as Dostana 2 are close to the finishing line.
Bombay Girl is all set to go on the floors.
Parineeti Chopra
Movies in hand: Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, The Girl on the Train, Saina
For Parineeti, 2020 was supposed to be a year of reckoning.
Never mind the much-delayed Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, The Girl on the Train was supposed to be special.
Moreover, she was supposed to star in her most challenging film till date, Saina, a biopic on badminton ace Saina Nehwal.
One waits to see if this manages to make the cut in 2020.
Mrunal Thakur
Movies in hand: Jersey, Toofaan, Aankh Micholi
Mrunal made an impression in Super 30 and Batla House.
In Jersey, she has a substantial role. There's also Toofaan and Aankh Micholi in her line-up.
