Kavita Kaushik enters Bigg Boss 14 as a wild card contestant, and she's made an impact immediately.

The actress has already become the captain of the house!

So what does she think of the show so far?

"Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia are behaving like Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz. Those two boys would come so close while fighting that I always feared that they don't end up kissing each other! But in this season, while watching Eijaz and Pavithra, I was wishing that they kiss each other and we would get something interesting to watch," Kavita tells Rediff.com Senior Contributor Rajul Hegde before stepping inside the house.>

What made you say yes to Bigg Boss 14?

I have been offered Bigg Boss from season 1.

Chaudha saal ka vanvas katham hua hai meri Bigg Boss kay sath (laughs).

Earlier, I used to think it's an invasion of privacy, I might get offended if someone says something to me. But now, all that is gone because the country has become like Bigg Boss.

You share any opinion on social media, you get attacked.

We are fighting social media trolls anyway.

As an artist, what do we want?

A larger audience. And the entire country watches Bigg Boss as its one of the most popular reality shows across all channels.

It would be ungrateful to say no to this opportunity again.

I would be refusing something really big that the universe was sending on my platter not once, but time and again, especially (at a time) when people are struggling, losing jobs and changing work for monetary reasons during the pandemic.

So I decided to step out of my comfort zone.

Apart from the apprehensions about the fights, one cannot deny that the show is tempting.

It gives you a lot of fame for whatever time it may be.

If you are smart, you can stretch it for more than a year.

It gives you the kind of fame that movies or other television projects don't give.

Of course, the money is also great, even more if you win the show.

So I thought maybe I am being too rigid. Once in a while, it's good to take risks and bend the rules you make for yourself.

Being such a popular actress, what made you come as a wild card contestant? Why didn't you enter at the beginning of the show?

I was doing my kundalini yoga teacher's training.

I have been doing yoga for the last 10 years, but in the last three-four years, in a more spiritual way.

I want to share the knowledge, as it has helped me physically and mentally.

It is the need of the hour for society.

I want to start teaching.

I completed my 300 hours of yoga a few days ago.

How updated were you about Bigg Boss 14?

I watched only the last four-five days of Bigg Boss.

There are interesting contestants ,but they are not being real.

They are copying last season's contestants.

Maybe they have that pressure, as the last season broke all TRP records.

Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia are behaving like Sidharth Shukla and Asim Riaz. Those two boys would come so close while fighting that I always feared that they don't end up kissing each other!

In this season while watching Eijaz and Pavithra, I was wishing that they kiss each other and we would get something interesting to watch.

Every season has its own charm. If you try to copy, you will lose your specialty.

They have started fighting very soon.

Yes, there will be fights when you are locked up in a house but you need to open up too. The audience needs to have their favourites.

Housemates need to bring out all emotions, not just anger.

Who do you think you will get along with?

I think I will get along with Abhinav Shukla because he is different and makes interesting conversations.

It looks like Eijaz Khan is over-prepared for the show.

Rubina has the potential.

I am not going inside the house to make friends, as I have only one friend and that is my husband.

Did your husband encourage you to take up the show?

Yes, he told me it's the number one show and made me realise that it opens so many opportunities.

I have been working for 18 years and sometimes you need a project that gives you another boost and creates a good buzz for your career again.

Like a little child, he is so excited for me to win the trophy.

How entertaining are you?

I am very funny.

I will make sure that people get entertained by the way I am.

Even if I fight, it should be interesting and fun, not full of cuss words.

I am okay with household chores.

I love cooking as I have been cooking since a very young age.

Which contestant's game did you like the most in all these seasons of Bigg Boss?

Shehnaz Gill, Gauahar Khan and Hina Khan.

Shehnaz knew she was charming, so she used her charm very well throughout the show to get into the hearts of the audience.

Knowing your plus point is vital.

Are you carrying any designer clothes inside the house?

No, mujhe designer clothes zyada time sehan hahi hota.

It's fine to wear it when I enter the show.

I feel if I wear a designer outfit, it is the designer's talent, not mine.

I am a desi at heart and wear my own stuff.

You are reported to have a close rapport with the show's host, Salman Khan.

I wouldn't call it a close rapport, but yes, I know him.

Salman and his family have seen the episodes of FIR and have praised my work.

He has been very gracious and graceful whenever we have met.
