Tata Consultancy Services on Thursday posted a net profit of Rs 643.81 crore (Rs 6.44 billion) for the third quarter ended December 2004.
The company's total income for Q3 stood at Rs 2219.86 crore (Rs 22.2 billion) , it informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The TCS group posted a net profit of Rs 713.31 crore (Rs 7.13 billion) and a total income of Rs 2691.78 cr (Rs 26.92 billion) for the period.
The company board will meet on January 20 to consider declaration of second interim dividend.
