The Centre has decided to hike pay for All India Radio and Doordarshan Programme Executives in compliance of an order given by the Principal Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal.
The revision of pay scales follows a petition filed on February 25, 1999
by Programme Staff Welfare Association of AIR and DD for removing 'anomalies' in the pay. The CAT's order came on September 27, 2002, a Staff Welfare Association release said.
