Information technology firm Global Exchange Services on Tuesday said it plans to add about 50 people this year at its centre in Bangalore, which currently employs 150 people.
GXS President and CEO Gary Greenfield told reporters that the firm, which is developing new releases for its existing products in India, would start building new products for the global market.
Greenfield however declined to specify investment plans in the centre.
"The vision for the Indian technology centre is to create the future of B2B globally. A large part of our success can be attributed to our people who have been instrumental in our progression in the value chain. ITC engineers now contribute to over two thirds of our core software products and solutions," GXS India Technology centre Vice President Maya Vidhya said.
