Manoj Vaish, BSE CEO, quits

Manoj Vaish, chief executive officer of the Bombay Stock Exchange, has resigned, but will continue in his present position till September.

The BSE board has accepted his resignation. BSE also said, "The governing board appreciates and acknowledges the excellent contribution made by Dr Vaish to the progress of the BSE in the recent years."

Vaish has not given any reasons for his resignation, but, according to sources, he is likely to take up an assignment abroad.
