So, which airports impressed travellers the most, based on votes from passengers across the globe in the 2025-2026 World Airport Survey by SKYTRAX.
1. Singapore Changi Airport, Singapore
Singapore airport, of course, gets top honours for offering an extraordinary mix of nature, entertainment and retail experiences.
Fascinating Butterfly Garden and Crystal Garden to the quirky Cactus Garden, Changi offers plenty to explore simply while you are waiting for a flight. The wide range of shopping outlets, dining options and fun activities for children, make the airport feel more like a destination than a transit hub.
2. Incheon International Airport, Seoul
The South Korean air hub is spread across a vast modern complex that has earned global recognition for its efficient facilities, passenger-friendly services and one-of-a-kind airport experience.
3. Haneda Airport, Tokyo
A key gateway to Japan, at this airport travellers can browse an array of shops, sample Japanese cuisine and unwind in comfortable spaces before their flight.
4. Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong
Built on Chek Lap Kok island it is 34 km from the city and that distance can be covered in 24 minutes in trains that go every 10-12 minutes.
Since opening in 1998, it has built a strong reputation for its modern infrastructure, smooth operations and passenger-friendly facilities. Its sky bridge has great views, luxury dining and shopping.
5. Narita International Airport, Tokyo
Alongside Haneda Airport, Narita too serves to the Greater Tokyo Area, alongside Haneda airport. Situated around 60 km east of central Tokyo, it is located in Narita, Chiba prefecture and has intriguing displays of art, garden and great duty free option.
