The STD calls will be charged at Rs 1.75 a minute within the Airtel network. The calls from Airtel-to-other (local & STD) will be charged at Rs 2.90 per minute.
Local and national Airtel-to-Airtel SMS will be at 30 paise and there will be an introductory offer for all Airtel customers of Rs 50 extra talk time on 1st recharge of 331 and above, the company said in a statement.
Known as the 'Airtel Advantage Pack', it will give an initial calling value of Rs 50 valid for 7 days from the date of activation.
The other feature of 'Airtel Advantage Pack' is the low outgoing tariff rate of Rs 0.30/min on all local outgoing calls made between Airtel-to-Airtel mobile.
The 'Airtel Advantage Pack' will be available for the customers for Rs 150. Customers recharging cards for Rs 220, 331 and 662 respectively will be charged Rs 25 extra as processing fee.
