Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee was not thinking about the 11,000 farmers who gave their land for the Tata small car project, and was only concerned about 2,000 farmers who had refused to give it, West Bengal Industry Minister Nirupam Sen said on Tuesday.

"What will happen to those families who gave their land with the expectation that their children will be offered employment?" Sen asked.

On Banerjee rejecting Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee's fresh offer of talks, Sen said the TC chief was opposing dialogue only for the sake of opposing.

"If she rejects the CM's offer of talks, what can we do? She is opposing for the sake of opposition."
