The much-awaited Budget is over. While Chidambaram defends his Budget, many people seem to be disappointed.

But it's not easy being the finance minister. You are constantly juggling resources at your disposal to strike the right balance. If you raise taxes, people scream. If you cut taxes, the government has lesser funds to provide for the poor.

What would you have done if you were India's finance minister?

How would you have attracted more investments, created more jobs, generated more revenue? And how much would you have allocated to various areas: education, defence, agriculture, etc?

What kind of taxation reforms would you have introduced?  Tell us your views.
