US-based communications networking major Cisco Systems on Friday announced its plans to develop a new campus in Bangalore, covering one million sq.ft area at a cost of $50 million.

The campus would support staff from Ciscos' research and development, IT, sales and customer support teams in India, a company statement said.

The new integrated campus is expected to be completed by June 2007 and when completed, the facility at Sarjapur on the outskirts of this city would have a capacity to seat 3,000 employees, it said.
