Recipe: Walnut Key Lime Pie Smoothie

This creamy, tangy smoothie tastes like a treat but is healthy and fuels like a power drink. Walnuts and avocado add creaminess and omega-3 goodness, while lime and banana make it light and energising!

  • ½ an avocado
  • ½ small banana

  • ⅓  cup or 75 gm walnut halves

  • 2 tbsp honey

Method

  • In a blender or using a hand blender, combine all ingredients and process until smooth.

  • Blend for roughly a minute, then assess the texture.
    If it's smooth and well-mixed, pour it out to serve; if not, give it another quick whirl until perfect.
