Employees of the now-divided Reliance conglomerate gathered in offices and factories to pay floral tributes to the group's founder-chairman late Dhirubhai Ambani on his third death anniversary on Wednesday.
Employees lit lamps and observed silence as they paid homage to Dhirubhai Ambani. On July 2, the entire Ambani family, including Mukesh and his younger brother Anil, came together for the first time after the division of the group, to offer prayers ahead of the death anniversary.
The Reliance group, which Dhirubhai created from scratch and turned into India's largest private sector conglomerate, was last month divided by his widow Kokilaben to settle a row between Mukesh and Anil.
