Siemens cellphones, from Rs 9,000

Siemens Mobile has launched three new, stylish, high performance mobile handset models -- M65, S65 and C65 in India.

The M65 and C65 handset models launched in the Indian market are priced at Rs 18,000 and Rs 9,000, respectively, and the S65, priced at Rs 21,000.

The Siemens M65 offers a range of games and multimedia features packed into a solid and robust design of metal and rubber. It comes with a mobile holder and cyclometer with tour-management functions and navigational elements.

The S65 is the first Siemens handset with a 1.3 MegaPix integrated still and video camera. It is also equipped with a 32MB compact multimedia card. It has the extended PIM (personal information management) which helps the user wirelessly synchronise with his/her PC and Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes to access e-mails, send data via Bluetooth, and a fully featured organiser.

The C65 offers MMS, an integrated camera, a 65k color screen and an attachable flash. It has applications like the customisable download assistant application Photopet and extended personalisation features for 'fun and ease of use.'

Siemens Mobile is a division of Siemens Ltd, the flagship of the Rs 4,000-crore Siemens Group in India. The group employs about 7,500 people.
