PIX: Beach bombshells from Chaitanya Rao!

Get set for the sun, sea and surf with designer Chaitanya Rao's latest collection at the LFW!

It's all about being a beach bombshell.

That was Chaitanya Rao's message, loud and clear on Day One of Lakme Fashion Week. Here's a look at resortwear from his label -- feminine, flattering and sure to sit well with a lot of the ladies.

Nicole Faria opened the show in a flaming orange corset with a jersey bikini bottom.

Next we have Kavita Kharayat in a hot red leather mini, teamed with mesh and a flower power cropped top.

High-waisted red pants are teamed with an orange bikini and lovely ruffled bolero.

Striking a pose in striped skirt and lace-lined jacket we have Candice Pinto.

The designer offers up a floral maxi with see-through bodice, set off by a gold bikini underneath.

The focal point of this red-black number is the rosetted neckpiece, with tassels cascading down the front.

Another tasselled skirt swishes out onto the runway, set off by a black sheen-tinted bustier.

For the guys, Rao sends out this striped waistcoat embellished with heavy duty belting and buckles.

Bright orange and black fringes are held together by a single clasp in front and teamed with a mult-striped skirt.

The only other menswear outfit from the collection consisted of this multi-striped buttonless jacket and black trousers.

We see Nicole once more, in a black bustier and teal-tinted rouched skirt.

And finally, this long, slightly bubble-silhouetted skirt brings out a craze of citrus colour.
