Presenting a glimpse of designer duo Aparna and Norden Wangdi at the LFW.

Day Three of Lakme saw Aparna and Norden Wangdi debut their new line 'The New Tower of Babel'.

Alphabets in different languages were used as motifs for embroidery, digital prints and patchwork detailing -- Japanese, Chinese, English and Sanskrit symbols were used on asymmetrical and draped silhouettes in resham, prints or sequins, while the colour palette ranged from white, navy and grey to red, pink and cobalt blue.

Seen here is a red number with Japanese script in black along the layers.

We can't read what's written on this one, but the languages make for a colourful mix and pretty pattern!

The rich colour and rouching on this strapless dress really bring out the best in it.

We liked this textured mini and the necklace and handbag accessorise it well.

Another textured outfit, but longer, with sheer sleeves, gives us a taste of boho glam.

The silky smoothness of white is broken by pale patches.

A lot of craftsmanship seems to have gone into this lovely, waif-like gown.

Too bad we can't make out what it is, but it's visually appealing all the same!

Ending the show was this layered silk and net voluminous gown.
