The ace designer closed Day Two of the Lakme Fashion Week with a stunning creation.

It was ivory magic on the ramp at the end of Day Two of the Lakme Fashion Week here in Mumbai. Manish Malhotra closed the day with a stunning spring-summer collection. The Collection featured summer colours aqua green, powder blue and ivories that cast a spell on the ramp.

The label that has adopted 45 girl child workers from Mijwan in Uttar Pradesh for a year sought inspiration from their Chikankari embroidery. Manish's collection also used Kashmiri embroidery that he sourced from Srinagar and Jammu extensively.

While Manish did not have a showstopper, Sameera Reddy, Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Sophie Choudry and Kunal Kapoor were among the celebs who watched the show.

First up, we have model Deepti Gujral walks the ramp in this empire line anarkali

Volume was the key word in Manish's collection. Preeti Dhata shows off a classic example of this.

Most of Manish's collection included Anarkalis a style that has been gaining a lot of popularity in the recent past. While some of them were knee-length ones, most like this one that Anjali Raut is wearing were full-length.

While volume defined the womenswear line, the menswear had its share of sharply cut bandhgalas and jodhpuris.
At the end of the show, a visibly happy Manish Malhotra walked the ramp and took a bow.
