This year, it was all about embracing the imperfections.

Like every year, the New York Fashion Week was special this time as well.

From bold messages of hope and freedom, the show struck an emotional chord with everyone in the audience.

These tell-tale pictures are proof!

Well, the model in the picture above, Ericka Hart, is a double mastectomy breast cancer survivor. She presented a creation for the AnaOno label. The show featured women from the group #Cancerland -- people who had survived different types of cancer.

New York based Public School Nyc's show was all about embracing a world without borders. Models walked the ramp in sweatshirts, caps and winter wear creations with slogans like 'We Need Leaders' and 'Make America New York'.
