LSG 178-5 (17 ovs) vs MI | Scorecard

Pacer Thushara comes back into the attack. He does well to bowl two dots in a row to Pooran, who then gets a thick inside edge off the third ball which goes through square leg for a four.

Thushara goes wide as Pooran smashes it over the covers for another boundary.

But Thushara has the last laugh. He bowls it on the wide line forcing Pooran to try something different. The left-hander walks across a long way and tries to smash it over the leg side but fails to find the gap or power and is taken by Suryakumar Yadav at long-on, who takes a fine overhead catches inches inside the boundary and does well to keep his balance.

Pooran walks back after an entertaining 75 from 29 balls, having hit eight sixes and five fours.

Pooran turned around the LSG innings with his brutal strokeplay as he put dominated the 109-run stand for the fourth wicket from 44 balls with Rahul.

Thushara strikes again off the next ball. Arshad Khan miscues the big swing across the line as the ball goes high on the off-side and Nehal Wadhera nearly messes up the catch before taking it on the second attempt.
