India's new selection committee retained former captain Sourav Ganguly [Images] in the Test squad for the first two matches against Australia [Images] starting on October 9.

Also included in the 15-man squad was the uncapped duo of Tamil Nadu batsman Subramaniam Badrinath and Haryana leggie Amit Mishra.

Wicetkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni [Images] returned to the Test squad after missing the Sri Lanka [Images] series.
