India's best cities: Here are the toppers!

Believe it or not, Ahmedabad has been ranked as the best mega-city in India.

Surprisingly, it has surpassed Pune, Mumbai and Delhi in opinion poll conducted by market research firm IMRB across the country's eight biggest urban agglomerations.

Besides being a hub of education, information technology and scientific industries, Ahmedabad is the cultural and commercial heart of Gujarat. It also has a booming textile industry.
