Here we have given a typical price range of a three-kilometre trip in each destination.
The figures are in price ranges instead of "average" prices because many cities have different prices with each company, or different price structures at night or on weekends.
So the prices below run from cheapest to most expensive, according to a study carried out by priceoftravel.com.
NOTE: The price on the left reflects 'little to no waiting in traffic', while the price on the right reflects 'high-traffic situations' plus 'night or weekend surcharges'.
