The one million tonne per year capacity plant would be executed by L&T on a total turnkey basis and is expected to be commissioned in a year, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
L&T's Oman-based subsidiary would carry out on-shore construction and erection for the order and the order would enhance its engineering and construction business in the field of cement projects in the Middle East, it added.
