Volvo is looking at introducing stripped-down version of its luxury sedans.
The company had sold 320 units in 2011 here, the Indian subsidiary of the auto maker said in a statement.
Expect a new compact SUV from their stable called EcoSport later this year.
The all new XC90 will be available in Inscription and Momentum trims.
V40 Cross Country is the only car in India by Volvo Cars that is available in both in diesel and petrol versions.
