Disgraced Commonwealth Games Operating Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi, accused of irregularities in awarding of Timing-Scoring-Result contract for the Commonwealth Games to a Swiss firm at an exorbitant cost causing a loss of over Rs 90 crore to the exchequer, was on Tuesday provided by a Delhi Court with the copy of the chargesheet and other documents.
Suresh Kalmadi was on Monday arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation soon after he came in for interrogation at the agency's headquarters in New Delhi over alleged irregularities in the conduct of Queen's Baton Relay (QBR) held in London in 2009.
