A man and a girl, reported missing two weeks prior, were discovered dead in an abandoned house in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding their deaths, including the possibility of suicide.
Security forces have strengthened the cordon in a remote forest area of Kathua district following an encounter with terrorists. A search operation was launched after reports of terrorist presence in Kahog village of Billawar.
