The women's 100 metres final will headline the first day of competition at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, organizers said on Wednesday, part of a reshaped schedule that moves athletics into week one and gives swimmers the rare chance to attend the Opening Ceremony.
The Opening Ceremony of the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles will be held on July 14 and the Games will conclude on July 30, games organizer LA28 announced on Monday.
