A court on Wednesday granted bail to former Nagaland Home Minister Imkong L Imchen who was arrested in Wokha district here for allegedly transporting Rs 1.10 crore in cash and arms and ammunition. Imchen was produced before the Wokha district judicial magistrate who granted him bail on 'health ground'.

Nagaland Home Minister Imkong L Imchen was detained on Monday near Wokha district for allegedly carrying a cache of arms and ammunition and Rs 1.10 crore in cash in a vehicle, official sources said.
The 81-year-old Liezietsu along with 11 ministers were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Acharya at the Raj Bhavan in Kohima.
In a letter to governor, he claimed support of 41 of the 59 MLAs.
