Q. My mom has given some money to her friend Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur. Instead of returning the actual cost, she sold her house to us by signing papers. These papers were simply the memorandum of understanding in presence of some person, and not the registry or some legal papers. We even did not get this registered at that time (in 1995s). \Now we want to sell that house, so we need to make the registry of that house. But unfortunately, Gurmeet Kaur is not in our contact, so we cannot ask her to do so.\Kindly suggest me what I can do in this case?
