A special court in Ranchi on Thursday granted the custody of former Jharkhand cabinet ministers Enos Ekka and Hari Narayan Rai for 10 days to the enforcement directorate in a money laundering case.
The speaker told the representatives that the petitions seeking time would be under his 'active consideration'.
They have also sought that the Speaker should restrain from dealing in any manner that adjudication proceedings on the pending disqualification proceedings against them.
The reports said the four ministers are Madhu Koda, Enos Ekka, Harinarain Rai, and Kamlesh Singh.
Ekka told Press Trust of India over phone that he was apparently the target of the extremists.
Two MLAs each from the BJP and the JD(U) were among the five who were inducted into the Cabinet.
