The investigation for 7/11 blast in which 189 people died was under question mark from the very first month after the Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad started arresting the accused from different parts of city. Within 10 days of blast by July 22, 2006, ATS arrested all the 13 terror accused in the case under the leadership of ATS chief, K P Raghuvanshi.
The Karnataka state government on Wednesday dimissed from service, Dr Malini, assistant director of the Forensic Sciences Laboratory who had conducted over a 100 narco analysis tests on persons in various sensational cases.
Dr Malini, aka known as Dr Narco, was sacked by the Karnataka government two days ago. This is no ordinary case as Dr Malini conducted the narco-analysis tests at the Bengaluru Forensic Sciences Laboratary, where she was the assistant director. The implications are huge: At least 400 narco-analysis tests by various investigating agencies from across the country will be put on hold.
A team of the Central Bureau of Investigation questioned former assistant director of Forensic Science Laboratory, Dr S Malini, who conducted the narco-analysis on the Fr Jose Puthrakoil, Fr Thomas Kuttoor and Sr Sephy in connection with the Sister Abhaya murder case.
