The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) in Kerala has registered 818 corruption-related cases over the past five years, marking a significant effort to combat corruption through strengthened surveillance, advanced technology, and increased public participation.
CBI officials booked for graft by the central probe agency were not only receiving regular kickbacks for compromising investigation, but were also acting as conduits to bribe their peers on behalf of companies accused of siphoning off crores of public money from banks, the FIR against them alleges.

The course was based on 'money laundering and financing of terrorism'.The five-day course was scheduled to be held at the CBI academy in Ghaziabad in May and in December, but the training programme was cancelled as there were no trainers and no participants for the course.
