Slumdog Millionaire, which was orphaned a few months ago when distributor Warner Independent folded into the parent company, consolidated its Oscar nomination chances last week winning a slew of key awards and being nominated for four Golden Globes.
In addition to being nominated in the best picture, director, adapted screenplay and music categories for the Oscars, Slumdog Millionaire is also expected to be nominated for cinematography, editing and costumes.
