The announcement by Air India CMD Rohit Nandan came on a day when two of the airline's six Dreamliners resumed commercial operations and operated regular flights from Delhi to Bengaluru and Kolkata.
Several such incidents of windshield cracks suffered by the Dreamliners of Air India have been reported in the past.
It is raining trouble for Air India's Dreamliner fleet as one of the aircraft was forced to return to New Delhi on Thursday after developing a windshield crack mid-air on its way to Kolkata.
