It was frustration for Liverpool and sheer delight for Manchester United on Sunday at Anfield. Louis van Gaal’s team scored the winner late but 1-0 victory was sweet for the Dutchman.
Wayne Rooney blasted the rebound past the helpless Simon Mignolet and it was celebration time.
It was Rooney’s 176th for Manchester United, making him the all-time Premier League top scorer.
