This historic park (external link) has seen many historic events such as Samyukta Maharashtra Movement, the birth of Shiv Sena and the swearing in ceremony of the Shiv-Sena Bharatiya Janata Party government.
It is located in the Maharashtrian stronghold of Dadar.
