Former Karnataka [ Images ] Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa [ Images ] has taken exception to the comments made by senior Bharatiya Janata Party [ Images ] leader L K Advani [ Images ] in a recent blog post.
Speaking to party colleagues at the BJP party office in Bengaluru [ Images ] on Tuesday, Yeddyurappa said that Advani's views on Karnataka were misplaced.
Advani had said that the corruption in Karnataka had tainted the party's image, as a result of which the BJP's prospect at the national level was dwindling.
Yeddyurappa said that Advani's statement that there would not be a BJP prime minister after the next general election is also a wrong view to take.
He said that such statements would ruin the prospects of the BJP in the next elections.
Yeddyurappa said he would meet Advani personally in a few days and clarify the position in Karnataka to him so that such statements are not made in future.
