A 1,000 pink chaddis and a 1,000 sarees as return gift. This is what one would get to witness during the Valentine's Day celebrations in Karnataka this year.

A group of women calling themselves as the 'Consortium of Pub Going Loose and Forward Women' had decided to courier a 1,000 pink chaddis to the Shriram Sena office which is protesting against the Valentine's Day celebrations.

Pramod Muthalik, founder of the Sri Ram Sena and also president of the Rashtriya Hindu Sena told rediff.com that they would retort by sending back a 1,000 sarees to these women.

This would be my return gift to these women who are planning on sending a 1,000 chaddis, he also said.

He also said that the women's wing of his organization was already on the job and had collected 200

sarees already. We would send a saree each to those persons who have sent us pink chaddis, he said.

He further added that these women who have decided to make a big issue out of Valentine's Day should debate across the table instead of resorting to such gimmicks. I am prepared for a debate on the issue, he further added.

Muthalik also added that his men would be on the prowl in every corner of the state. I will monitor the situation from Belgaum, Muthalik said.

My boys will keep a tab on those dating and as per our earlier plan we will surely get such couples married, he added.

He said that the Sena has decided to hand over such couples either to the police or to their parents and ensure that they get married. "We will not let our culture go to the dogs".
