Film producer Samir Hingora and city businessman Baba Chouhan were among the three held guilty by a Terrorist and Disruptive Activities Act court on Wednesday on charges of delivering weapons to actor Sanjay Dutt at his residence prior to the 1993 bomb blasts in Mumbai.

The court also held Rusi Mulla guilty of keeping with him a 9 mm pistol given to him by Sanjay's friend Kersi Adajenia. Mulla was found guilty under section 3 and 7 of Arms Act on charges similar to that of Sanjay who was convicted on Tuesday.

According to Central Bureau of Investigations, Sanjay had asked Yusuf Nallwalla to destroy AK-56 rifle and a 9 mm pistol lying in a bag in his house. Nallwalla took help of Kersi Adajenia to destroy the weapons.

Both melted AK-56 rifle with a gas cutter and decided to destroy the pistol later. Adajenia gave the pistol to Rusi as he was to go Kolkata on a business trip.

Judge P D Kode held Chouhan guilty of possessing AK-56 rifle and other weapons, which he delivered to Dutt.

He was found guilty under Section 5 of TADA (P) Act for possessing arms, section 6 of the same act, which provides for enhanced punishment for violation of other acts.

He was also found guilty under 3 and 7 of Arms Act. Producer Samir Hingora was found guilty of conspiracy under section 120-b IPC. He is charged with attending meeting in Dubai and delivering weapons to Dutt at the instance of Anees Ibrahim, absconding accused and brother of prime conspirator Dawood Ibrahim.
