India has not yet agreed on citizenship to Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen.
However, the Centre has allowed her multiple visa entry, media reports said on Tuesday.
Nasreen had written to the Indian government saying that it was not possible for her to return to Bangladesh.
The writer landed in controversy in 1994 after the publication of her book Lajja, which was critical of the way women were treated in Bangladesh.
