The Rashtrapati Bhavan is fast occupying the centrestage as rival parties rush there to apprise President A P J Abdul Kalam of various political developments.
A Congress Lok Sabha member told rediff.com: "Our party chief Sonia Gandhi and all Congress MPs will march from Parliament to the Rashtrapati Bhavan and meet President Kalam [on Thursday evening]. He will be apprised of the political situation in UP with special reference to Chief Minister Mayawati's nefarious role."
He said the high command has issues a three-line whip to its MPs.
The Congress alleges that the Mayawati government did not followed any procedures during the recent no-confidence motion in the assembly.
The Congress will also complain about the "videotape scandal" involving the chief minister.
The Congress' decision to march to the Rashtrapati Bhavan comes in the wake of Mayawati's declaration on Wednesday that she would hold a pardaphaash maharally in UP on April 14.
She said she would expose the corrupt practises of the Samajwadi Party and Congress.
On Wednesday, Bharatiya Janata Party's Madhya Pradesh unit chief Uma Bharti led a party delegation to the Rashtrapati Bhavan to protest against the "grave errors" in the electoral rolls of the state.
Bharti requested Kalam to ensure that Chief Minister Digvijay Singh obeys the Election Commission's order to rectify the "errors".
BJP general secreatary Pramod Mahajan, state party leader Kailash Joshi, 55 legislators and 18 parliamentarians were in the delegation.
