"Whatever administrative action needs to be taken would be taken," Dr Paul told rediff.com on Friday afternoon on phone in response to a question whether he was contemplating dismissal of the constable.
Bhura Singh, a traffic police constable currently posted in Sabji Mandi police station in North district, had been moving suspiciously for over an hour and entered in the prime minister's office cum residential complex without being questioned
because of his uniform and it was at the second gate that he was detained for questioning.
Bhura has been giving different versions to the Delhi police officials who questioned him along with the intelligence agencies through the night about the motive of moving around the prime minister's residence when he was not posted there.
Dr Paul confirmed that the constable would be booked under the relevant provisions of Indian Penal Code for his action. The police sources refused to confirm of deny whether Bhura Singh was medically examined to find out if he was intoxicated or he was mentally deranged.
This is the major breach of security cordon. The first one took place six months back when two girls from Jaipur were found by the media persons to have driven to the second gate of the security cordon without being stopped at the first one.
