"We have seen President Musharraf's remarks on India-Pakistan
relations. We are encouraged that Pakistan remains committed to the ongoing dialgoue process," Ministry of External Affairs spokesman Navtej Sarna told reporters in New Delhi on Wednesday after Musharraf's speech at the UNGA which was marked by absence of strident remarks on Kashmir.

"It has been our consistent position that all outstanding issues between the two countries, including Jammu and Kashmir, can be resolved through peaceful, bilateral dialogue," Sarna said.

Asked about Musharraf's remarks that "bilateralism" was being given a final chance, he said: "We are engaged in a well-considered and sustained process from which we will not be deflected by this or that remark from whatever quarter."
